Key Responsibilities:
  • Help users and manufacturing (fab) with issues on desktops, laptops, mobile phones, and printers.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Set up new devices and configure them for users.
Device Management:
  • Install and update operating systems and applications.
  • Maintain an inventory of all devices and perform regular checks.
Security:
  • Ensure devices are secure with antivirus software and necessary updates.
  • Assist with encryptions and VPNs to protect company data.
Network:
  • Help users with basic network issues like Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity.
  • Work with other teams for more advanced network problems.
Documentation:
  • Keep records of all support requests and solutions in the ticketing system.
  • Create simple guides for common problems users face.
Collaboration:
  • Work with other IT teams and communicate with vendors when necessary.
Compliance:
  • Ensure workstations meet company IT and security policies.
  • Keep systems properly licensed and updated.
Inventory Management:
  • Track and manage workstation hardware/software inventory.
System Monitoring:
  • Monitor workstation performance.
  • Suggest and implement improvements.


 

Mandatory Skills

Desktop/End-User Support/Manufacturing/Fab IT Support/ Installing OS, basic Wi-Fi Issues, Hardware & Software LAN Troubleshooting/Device Setup & Configuration, VPN & Encryption, Antivirus & Security Updates, IT Asset/Inventory Management
