Role Summary:
We are looking for passionate and skilled English communication teachers to train students from grades 6–12 in reading, writing, and spoken English. The role focuses on building fluency, confidence, pronunciation, and reducing Mother Tongue Influence (MTI), especially among first-generation English learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging sessions in:
• English grammar, vocabulary, reading, and writing
• Spoken English and communication skills
- Conduct interactive activities such as group discussions, role plays, presentations, and conversations
- Improve students’ pronunciation, fluency, and confidence in speaking English
- Design structured lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments to track progress
- Provide personalized feedback and support to help students overcome language barriers
- Create a safe and encouraging environment for students to practice English
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s Degree in English or related field (MA English preferred)
- B.Ed. (preferred)
- 8–10+ years of teaching experience (Classes 6–12)
- Certifications like IELTS / TESOL / TEFL are an added advantage
Skills Required
- Strong command over English grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
- Ability to train students in spoken English and communication
- Experience working with rural or first-generation learners preferred
- Excellent communication, patience, and mentoring ability
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools / smart classrooms
- Must be comfortable teaching in both English and Native Punjabi
